Sculpture

Christine owns and operates an art studio in Ottawa, working mainly in sculpture but with no limits.

When I think back I realize that I have been surrounded by art and music my whole life.

Seeing life as a balancing act.

The tree has a story to tell and the artist has feelings to express

Age 3: experimented with mud.
Age 6: discovered the beach and built sand castles.
Age 9: ‘mastered’ the art of mashed potato sculptures at dinner

Nature inspires most of Jim’s art, whether realistic or abstract.

Keith and Linda carve wood, bark, soapstone (and other types of stone).

Rob’s hands and imagination have given birth to some weird and wonderful figures

Nature, animals and people inspire me, but I allow the clay texture, strength and plasticity lead my fingers.
