Jinny Slyfield

A prize-winning Ottawa artist and photographer, Jinny brings to her painting impressions of the brilliant colours and textures of the many exotic countries visited on her voyages to the "Far Dominions". She uses oil, acrylics, watercolour, collage and her vivid imagination to create vibrant interpretations of her world. Jinny teaches drawing and portraits at the Orleans visual Arts Centre, the Ottawa Board, and at private facilities in Ottawa. She has previously taught at the Nepean Visual Arts Centre, and in Neuchatel, Switzerland. Her work is in private collections in Ireland, Switzerland, Canada, China and Australia.
