Christina Zeigler

Christina was born in New Brunswick,and grew up in the Ottawa area. She now lives in Kars Ontario near the Rideau River. She was brought up to recognize and appreciate the diversity and beauty of nature during many walks and solitary moments in the woods and portaging in Algonquin Park, and also still has a strong connection with the east coast.

After exploring different medias and creative outlets, painting has been the most fulfilling to express her love of nature and places traveled. Mostly self-taught she relies on what she learned in high school art class and the Ottawa School of Art in 2005. This helped refine her technique, renewed ideas and strengthen her motivation. Her medium is acrylic.
